Selective Colour & Before and After Edit
I took this shot recently, and at the time i thought it would be a good opportunity to try out the camera's selective colour feature, this is where it allows you to choose a colour, then it changes the rest of the photo to B&W, this is all done in-camera. I then used photoshop to remove all the items that i didn't want in the picture.

Here is the original :-

and here is the edited version :-

I still have some tidying up to do, but i think its looking reasonable.

Hi Rod,

This is some thing of a favourite technique of mine. I learnt all about it, a year ago.

I think I enjoyed a certain sense of consummate craftsmanship.

I like your result.

I really like that photo Rod. The telephone box being red against the rest of the B&W is very effective.

...now that just cheating! some of us have to do it by hand you know Big Grin

but I like the final edit, although personally I would have moved to one side to get a 3/4 angle on the phone box, but that's me being picky Wink

Thanks guys, Cyb you may be right about the 3/4 angle, this picture was taken in a bit of a rush, so i may re-visit this when i have a bit more time and take a few different angles.

I didnt know the camera had the selective colour feature until about a week ago, now i keep looking for suitable candidates.
