I would say there is a bit too much coloured noise and their is a significant halo effect. I will have a go and see if I can produce a specimen for you to aim for. Excellent work with image size.
Should be back in less than ten minutes. Geoff Because this is a crop of the 1024px original, it can't be rescaled without actually provoking noise and other problems. This is my best effort and I have been moderately sophisticated, too. Which image processing software do you use?

I always have the camera set for the largest images size. This means that I have to rescale to 1024 pix on the widest side.
This is a bit of a pain, but it give me the ability to crop and yet still have a decent end size. You should be OKwith cs3. It's a complicated package, though. Geoff |
