I was wondering if anyone could help.

Something happened to my camera today and the flash would not work. Anyway I took it back to the shop and got a new one (still a p500)
however there is and icon on the screen and I have no idea what it is.

It is in the top right hand corner and it looks like a watch face and strap then it has the letters NR((hand))

I dont have a clue what most of the icons mean but i am getting there. I asked in Jessops what it was but the guy had no clue

Thats your long exposure noise reduction, you can go into the menu to change it, have a look in your manual
