Hi ether823 and welcome aboard!
Hi there and welcome aboard ether823,

Please read carefully. Your account is activated!

This is an automatically generated posting; and personalised welcome postings from our members will follow soon. We have started to register members automatically on sign up. And we need to upgrade your membership, as soon as we see posts about photography that you have made. If you experience any problems, please use the Contact Us facility.

Firstly, you may find our Useful Info Page (link also placed in the main menu bar) useful to check out. We recommend that you find time to check it out.

Another thing we would like to mention is our anti spam bot protection, and such bots wreak great havoc if they manage to get full access rights. We do not really know that you are not a bot until we have seen your first posts on photography. In the meantime you are limited to four posts per day, one of which can be a new thread; the personal messaging system is also disabled, just for the moment. Hopefully, we will spot your photography posts quickly and upgrade your membership quickly, too.

We thank you for your understanding in this matter of our preserving the integrity and smooth running order of the site. Because we have not yet done an email check, you may receive an email from us asking you to confirm receipt of same.

We sincerely hope you enjoy your time on this messaging board.

Kind Regards,

The BCUG Admin Team

is a comparison. What observations have you already come up with. Give me a bit time to read this page and come back, too.

I am also looking at this page.
I was condidering the S3280 but a few reviews have said the images are very grainy, the S2950 has problems in low light, so it might be the S4000 for me. I like the idea of going back to a view finder (electric or otherwise). I just enjoy landscapes and the like and at £160 is`nt going to break one`s bank.
