Terrific photo Spike, I fear this is going to be a familiar sight in this part of the country too.
Evert time i try to photograph a Swan it turns its head away. Have not mastered the knack in allowing for shutter delay on this L120 yet!

We have actually had it quite mild this year Denis. That was the one spell, so far, when it got extremely cold. Thanks for the comment.

I should have looked closer at the image..there was me thinking the water had dried up, and that being a topical subject due to us down here being now officially drought-ridden.
But it is walking on ice.... I should have gone to specsaversSmile I wondered why there were no footprints Undecided
