RE: Split between Categories
The forum is now getting more active and especially with having the latest threads sidebar, any fine meshed detail in category and forums is less of a worry for every one. Plus getting a sort of bead curtain in place between beginners areas and rather advanced work is reassuring, I am sure, for those who were frightened of the very great detail that is now present in the topics on this forum.

The forum has now evolved into being a serious photography forum that helps newbies. Many photography forums do that; but we with our particular name, shop window and google links are now very well placed to move forward.

Frank, I particularly admire your avatar. it appears to me like it is a stylised dragon fly design for a pair of cuff links with emphasised dragon overtones... very smart!

I think I must try harder at my own avatar innovations, feeling as I do spurred on by your example.
