Thanks for the kind welcome to your site. Came across it by chance & am opleased I have.

My wife & I purchased the FZ45 recently. We are both new to digital photography.

My first problem as with most new products. The manual is not in paper form. I find it much better to be able to read & understand the instructions that way. According to Jessop's site they print them off for £15. Went into the local shop & was met by blank looks. I was advised to phone Head office as they think they post them out to you!!!

We have not used the camera a great deal yet but looking forward to experimenting

With the pdf format you can search for words... that is handy!

If necessary you can upload the pdf to your android or iphone, too.

But to take manual focussing, for example, that procedure is best rehearsed in advance.

After you've got past a certain point, the troubleshooting comes intuitively.

Hello I have the FZ45 & have taken some great pictures Of all types. A little bit of practice and you will get smashing results
