Just for Fun (what is it?)

I am sorry folks. I have got preoccupied today with getting a home server built, configured and checked out.

On Monday I did the nuts and bolts of putting the motherboard into the case and getting the wiring sorted out and tidied up. Yesterday, I installed the operating system and a complete web server bundle, with all the bits and pieces needed to make it work.

Today I got it working "headless", which means to say that I operate and control it from another computer (it now has no keyboard, mouse or monitor attached).

I also resolved another problem, because I could not "seem" to get the power LED to work. Anyway, after disassembling the component parts of the front panel I discovered what this puzzle was about. You see, the LED is sausage shaped and sits in a recess; and any way I put a white adhesive panel into place and it now catches the blue light which could not be seen because the fascia is black.

A totally weird thing that! but I now know there is no need for me to catch any product return deadline! And that is what my rush was mostly about. So, enough of this shaggy dog story!

I've got to go out early and for all day tomorrow. So could someone else post an image up, please. And I promise to have shots ready in reserve, in future.
