Two ways of doing the same thing

Now we all have cameras that have settings that produce shots in B/W, when we can do the conversions in post processing. And there are more subtle examples of this sort of thing.

But here is my example. My camera has what's called a D Light setting. I don't use it any more; I add tone mapping in my post processor.
