RE: HS20EXR
I have got an improvement and this was by using the Levels Command, pulling in the slider from the right (the lightness) end.

Do you want me to explain this command?

RE: HS20EXR
The command will be very similar in all advanced processors. I just tried it out in the Photo Editor we have in the menu bar.

Some shots you take where you don't level out the histogram before taking them, can be corrected in this way.

If you want to use the site editor, what you learn will transfer OK. And I can answer detailed queries, too.

That is striking. You must be well pleased with both the composition and the visual effect.

Thanks Geoff............i am pleased, i am now starting to think about the shots i take, it would have been all too easy to fall into the trap of taking just a run of the mill shot of the whole sculpture but as i get more experienced it gets easier to find different ways to photograph the same subject Smile

RE: HS20EXR
Yes, in my own case I was emerging from depression a years few ago; and it was not so easy to push myself and be innovative or get somewhere on location and try to think outside of the box.

I knew of lots of reasons, too, why taking up photography might help me with this nuisance depression.

Returning to your shot, you have brought your subject to metaphorical life and given us reason to think about the characterisation... the clothing, the features, and so forth.
