Evocative. I immediately flashed back to my early childhood circa 1953 to 1963, until the mighty axe of Dr Beeching.

The railway line was 500 yards away, and during the day the traffic from the road prevented all possibilities of hearing passing trains.

But late at night lying in my bed, I could hear the puff, puff, puff rising to a crescendo and then falling back again.

But my reminiscences apart you have captured some nice shots.
