Our forum is a phpBB3 driven site that is tailored to provide extra layout features. It is an ideal place to network to improve your photography skills and become proficient at telling a story with a photoblog. This is our forum-based general introduction.
Welcome to our photography forum and networking site.
We welcome relative newcomers to photography and also those who are more experienced.
We employ a method of blogging which enables us to layout text on either side of thumbnails. So we are able to utilise our forum a little more adventurously than many other sites.
We also encourage our members to explore the use of different coloured backgrounds; and to employ narrative as an accompaniment.
We review new compact and bridge cameras and many of our members also use d-slrs. We cover quite a range of processing techniques: we do not underestimate Picasa and feature the Gimp strongly (since there are shed fulls of tutorials already available for PhotoShop). We also cover Raw pre-processing.
